Latin American Committee Members

Foster laboratory practice improvement in the Latin America region through broad educational activities of health care workers and other stakeholders, generation and dissemination of relevant clinical and technical information to promote quality, efficiency and safety for patient and health workers on the preanalytical phase of laboratory testing, positively impacting health outcomes. 

Promote awareness and disseminate preanalytical expertise through educational activities, clinical studies, publications and guidelines in order to create and share best laboratory practices and improve healthcare and patient safety.

 

Visão: Melhora das práticas de laboratório na região da América Latina por meio de atividades educativas voltada aos trabalhadores da saúde e outros interessados; geração e disseminação de informações clínicas e técnicas relevantes para promover a qualidade, efciência e segurança do paciente e profissional da saúde na fase pré-analítica laboratorial, impactando positivamente nos resultados clínicos.

Missão: Promover a disseminação de conhecimentos do processo pré-analítico por meio de atividades educacionais, estudos clínicos, publicações e orientações, a fim de criar e compartilhar as melhores práticas de laboratório e de melhorar a saúde e a segurança do paciente e do profissional da saúde na região América Latina.

Visión: Mejora de prácticas de laboratorio en la región de América Latina a través de actividades educativas dirigidas a los trabajadores salud y otros interesados; generación y difusión de la información clínica y técnica pertinente a la promoción de la calidad, eficiencia y seguridad para el paciente y trabajador de salud en el laboratorio de la fase pre-analítica, con impacto positivo sobre los resultados clínicos.

Misión: Promover la difusión del conocimiento del proceso de pre-analítica a través de actividades educativas, estudios clínicos, publicaciones y directrices, con el fin de crear y compartir las mejores prácticas en laboratorio y mejorar la salud y la seguridad del paciente y la salud profissional en América Latina
