Dr. Kuwa’s research activities are focused in the area of clinical chemistry such as enzymology, sensor technology (i.e. ion selective electrodes and noninvasive monitoring), proteins, lipids, electrolytes, hormones, diabetes markers, tumor markers, cardiac markers and kidney markers, and development of reference materials for clinical chemistry.
